At first this unit was great, but somehow, it developed some additional “transient” sounds that interfered with the sounds
that are necessary to cover up other sounds in the room. This is hard to explain, except that your ears pick-up on these abnormal sounds that are cycled thru the regular sounds. It may be a click, beep, melodic or a skip where the cycle ends and starts. The wife woke up several times hearing sounds and once thought she heard her cell phone and realized that it was the sound card. I can “forget” and not hear it, but sometimes your ears “catch” ahold of the foreign sound and won’t let go.
