We have used this sound machine every night for 4 1/2 years. Our daughter can’t sleep without it. We use it ourselves if one of us wants to take a nap while others are at home and awake. This sleep machine is awesome! This is our 3rd child so our house is not exactly quiet! The baby would hear everything and wake up until I bought this machine! Now he sleeps thru the coughing, crying, flushing the potty, dogs barking, you name it!! We just took it on vacation and it worked like s charm at the hotels! I recommend this to everyone with a baby!!!! Thank u Brookstone!!!!!!

I live in a condo on a busy noisy street. This machine helps drain out any sounds and has eliminated any stresses about sudden noises that can wake my baby. I have used it for over a year and is still in mint condition. If you are looking for a quality machine with a variety of sounds and volumes, look no further. Worth every penny.

bought based on reviews, but this was not at all like other sound machines. The white noise sound was very low and grating. It sounded unnatural. We are returning.
